Find out more →Here we start with your MOT. Whether you have pain complaints, current injuries, or are looking for a MOT to check over body function - this is our first port of call.
We begin with a full injury history to check for potential compensation patterns. From here, we run a comprehensive 3D biomechanics screening - this checks each joint, in each range of motion, allowing us to really delve into what is going on with the body: where the glitches are, what is compensating, and also allows us to highlight issues before they come to light!
From here, we can create a plan of action and determine the best treatment. You will leave with a thorough understanding of what's going on in the body, and an exercise plan to begin working on! Hands-on treatment is also included in this session.
Exmouth Marina, Devon - private clinic
We begin with a full injury history to work out how the body may have compensated over the years. We then move into a full functional biomechanical assessment - this further allows us to check out what is working, how well it's working and what may be overcompensating, causing potential issues. From here, we can get to work with your treatment, using a variation (but not limited to) tissue release, fascial work, massage, acupuncture and exercise prescription.
This takes a different approach to traditional physiotherapy - we take a more holistic approach, and rather than just assessing the injured tissues, we aim to find what is causing that, assessing gait, movement patterns and functional biomechanics, and begin here. This allows us to put together a comprehensive treatment plan that doesn't just treat the symptoms, but the underlying root cause.
Yes! The beauty of the full MOT is that we can assess the current workings of the body to find where you are at, what we can do to improve the overall workings of the body, and optimise performance. We do recommend an annual MOT as a preventative treatment.
This varies entirely from person to person. If you have had issues that have persisted longer than 3 months, we usually recommend 6 sessions of treatment to follow, however we will let you know a more precise plan after your initial assessment!
Unfortunately we aren't registered with BUPA, however we do work with many cash insurance plans, so feel free to send it over to us beforehand and we can let you know!
Currently we are only offering this as an in-person session at our private clinic on Exmouth Marina in Devon, however we are planning to operate online soon!
Every follow up session builds on the last. As your body responds and adapts, your treatment evolves with it. No two sessions are the same - because no two stages of your progress are the same.

A combination of sports massage, advanced deep tissue treatment, fascial release, and Phase IV Laser - working together in a single session to do what no single technique could achieve alone.
Phase IV Laser accelerates tissue healing and reduces inflammation at a cellular level. Combined with deep tissue work and myofascial release, the result is faster recovery, reduced tension, and lasting change rather than temporary relief. Acupuncture can be incorporated where appropriate.

Over time, your body absorbs everything you ask of it. Training, stress, long days, old injuries quietly resurfacing. Monthly maintenance is how you stay ahead of it.
Each month includes a combined total of treatments to use as and when you need them - scheduled in person around your life, not a fixed timetable:
This is not a reactive programme. It is how you keep your body performing at the level your life demands.

This not only ensures I don't re-injure myself, but it has also led to noticeable performance gains in my other sports, particularly surfing. I now look at my training completely differently to meet my performance goals - it has gone far beyond just rehabbing an injury."

Some people look after their body.
Others engineer it.
The Performance Programme is for individuals who understand that strength and resilience drive everything - who refuse to let physical limitations hold them back. You don't train to stay active. You train to increase capacity, resilience, and output year after year.
This is not for everyone.
It is for people who expect more from themselves than average.
You are not here to maintain.
You are here to build capability.
Who this is for:
Athletes. Professionals. High-output individuals.
People who refuse to operate at average.
This is not about feeling good.
It is about becoming more capable.
